Family and friends of the late Peter Batson are invited to attend his funeral which will be held at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester and Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong Street, North Albury on Monday 3rd June 2019 commencing at 1.30pm. At conclusion of the service, the cortege will leave for the Glenmorus Gardens Lawn Cemetery, Glenmorus Street, Albury.
Batson Peter Alexander 17/5/53 – 28/5/19 Passed away peacefully at the Mercy Palliative Care. Aged 66 years. Much loved husband and best mate of Julie. Cherished Dad and father in law to James, Alice and Haydn Doolan. Son of Jim and Val (dec), Bendigo, and brother and brother in law to Rosemary and Ian Richardson and their family, London. You will be loved and remembered always.
Condolences to Julie and family. Peter was one of the best photographers I’ve had the privilege of working with, a true craftsman.

Peter was the best, the most human, of photographers. Going out to work with his cheerful face
by your side was like an unlimited assurance policy that, whatever words you would catch like
precious drops of water in a drought, you would never return to the office parched for pictures.
He was one of those generous souls whose passing reminds me – as they lay him to rest on my 65th
birthday, and him granted just one year and a few days more – that every single day is precious.
Few used their time – and enriched ours – better than you, Peter. Vale, old mate.
