Due to Covid-19 a small private funeral and burial service will occur on Friday 25th September from 1pm. Family and friends are invited to join online, via a livestream of the full mass service and afterwards a brief committal service.

BATTYE, Eileen Patricia (nee Walsh)

Of Wodonga, formerly Manangatang passed away peacefully on 18th September 2020, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of Leo (dec). Loving mother of Patricia & Paul, John (Buster) & Rhonda, Margaret & Colin and Anne and Michael (both deceased). Grandma to Jacqueline, Leon, Alicia, Tina, Kylie, Danielle, Peter, Monique and Catherine.  Great grandmother to 12 grandchildren.

A long-term resident of Westmont Baranduda, Eileen’s family extend their sincere thanks and appreciation for the care and compassion received by Eileen from the staff of Westmont over the last 10 years.

    To Trish, Buster & Marg, Deepest Sympathy to you all on the passing of your much loved Mum and Nan Eily. I have beautiful memories of Eily from years of working with her at the hospital and lots of cuppa’s with her & Leo after she retired. Many laughs had together. Together with her beloved Leo again.
