The funeral service of the late Mr Gordon Wallace Benson will be held at The River Community Church, 524 David St, Albury on Thursday 14th September 2017, commencing at 2.00pm. The cortege will leave following this service for burial at Glenmorus Gardens Lawn Cemetery, Union Road, Albury.
Our dear Gordon Benson, Loved friend for 43 years of Janet and David Kingsley. And Much remembered Albury grandfather of Meg, Tim and Toby. AN HONORABLE MAN.
Dearest Gordon was like a grandfather to me, supportive, loving and caring. He was part of my life from early childhood up until his passing and I will always treasure my memories of our time together. Although I will always miss him, I know he is with our Lord Jesus Christ and reunited with his life-long love, Betty Benson. Rest in peace Gordon and may we meet again in eternity.
My dear long time friend Gordon – gone but never forgotten. Will see you when I get to heaven. I’ll never forget the many hours we spent together.
My dear Uncle Gordon whom I love so much will miss so much. You are one of earths true gentlemen and so caring and loving to everyone and anyone. You were such an amazing husband to Aunty Betty and looked after her so well and never complained. Thank you so much for being such a wonderful part of our Family.
Your 12 year old Great great Niece Jailyn who so looked forward to our visits to see you is very sad but she has memories and photos of you, particularly a lot of ones eating ice cream on the way to the weir.
