Family and friends of the late Mrs. Joan Booth are invited to attend a service to celebrate her life at the Lester & Son Chapel, 49 Thomas Mitchell Drive, Wodonga on Friday 18th May 2018 commencing at 11.30am. The cortege will leave for the Wodonga Cemetery after the service.

Passed away peacefully at Albury Base Hospital. Dearly loved wife of George. Loving mother of Patricia, Raymond, Sharon and Janette.

Words cannot express the sadness and emptiness I feel now that you are gone.. I have 37 years of memory’s that I will Cherish now that are forever mine.
I will remember our Saturday nights after Pop had gone to bed sitting on the couch till early hours of the morning watching movies together.. it was you who instilled in me my love of musicals, and Disney movies..
I will remember the time you and I chickened out and kept our feet on solid ground while watching Pop take Wayne on the roller coaster at dreamworld when you took us to Queensland
I will remember the countless hours spent fishing and camping and that one time you and I where ready to jump ship when Pop pulled that giant eel into the boat at Marlo,
I will remember You Teaching me to use a sewing machine and to knit a simple scarf and how messy hobbytex could get in the hands of a 10 year old,
I will remember the recipe for your curry chicken stew that I still make today for my own family.
I will Remember You and Pop gave me ALF when I was 4, he went everywhere with me.. you use to say the poor old bugger would fall apart with how many times he was dragged around the country side, he may have lost his voice box but hes still with me 33 years later and he will forever remind me of you.
There is so many more memory’s I could go on forever.
But
Mostly I will remember that you where my Nan.
