    Andy,
Words cannot express the void that has been left by your passing. We were only talking on Saturday about catching up for a few beers.

I will miss our chats about the serious stuff, life, work, relationships. But I will treasure the silly times.
Discussions about the flavour of banana lollies and how it came to be that way.
Our mutual love of chicken sandwiches and clowns, (not at the same time because that would be weird), and how we needed to increase our vocabularies with words like “fug” and “flugelbinder”. I especially enjoyed our nonsensical conversations that contained a plethora of unrelated topics all jumbled which left bystanders completely confused.

You said it yourself that life was to short to worry about the past. Only now do I understand what that means.
    Thank you for being you.

    Vale Andy

One of the good ones gone far to soon.

My Beautiful Friend. I’m lost. There was a time where we shared so much fun, laughter, even tears with each other. We had such a bond. I loved our hour plus phone calls, when you came over for dinner or called in after work for a beer. I so wish I could have you drive up the driveway again and say “Herroww” or just walk in and scare the life out of me. You were my ‘adopted husband’ for so many years, you became part of my family. You got cranky at me when I went and saw you in hospital in Melbourne but I know you appreciated it so much. You told me once “I only say I love you to people I care about.” Then told me you loved me gave me a big bear hug and said ‘now get me a can will ya… please!’! We had fight after fight about music and ‘who sang that song’ yeh you usually won… just. The world, well my world was such a better place with you In it Drew. Heaven will know you’ve arrived when you ‘nutbush’ through the gates into your Mums arms. You will forever be my Buttercup. I love you Drew. Thank you for being you. ‘Build me up Buttercup’. Til we meet again my beautiful “mate”. Rest sweetly I. The arms of the angels xxx Always Drew…. Always xoxo

A true friend who would give the shirt off his back. We had many fantastic times that will never be forgotten. Your infectious smile warped sense of humour and the love you had for our family will remain with us forever Drew. We all love you and will eternally miss you. Rest sweetly with your mum. Love you always, Craig, Lisette, Hayley and Zoey xxxx
