All my love is with you today as you say goodbye to your beautiful Dad. May he now be at peace, in no more pain, but watching down on you, your angel forever. I wish I could be with you today and give you a hug in person, but know that my arms are around you right now.

Our thoughts are prayers are with all the family and extended family on Basil’s passing. He certainly had that Felmingham sense of humour and mischief. The service was a wonderful reflection of a life well lived.

A beautiful service for an amazing man. A man who lived an amazing life and required only the simplest of happiness’s to be forfilled. We can see that across the entire family still today. We have been fortunate enough to meet and spend time with Baz many times in our lives through Mark and Viv. He even welcomed us into a family Christmas event when visiting years ago – that is the type of people Basil and Anne are, warm loving and inviting. We are sad we are not able to be with you today with the current ways but we are happy we were able to watch live. Our sincere condolences to Anne and all of the family. With love Paige, Jason, Seth and Dane Hodson.

Thank you for allowing us to share the celebration of Uncle Basil’s life online. I loved Mark’s story about “Baz the Flash” running after the car and how he used to not run in the cricket but make up his own runs. 49.5 years together Anne that’s wonderful. Sending love x

Love to you all. I’m sorry i couldn’t be present due to the restrictions. A beautiful service, the stories and pictures brought back a heap of great memories of growing up with the best neighbours you could have. Though he may not be with you physically, he will always be with you, in your hearts and memories. hugs and kisses to you Anne.
