For 10 years we had the most wonderful neighbours anyone could wish for. It took only a few days, we weren’t even unpacked, and having a few friends for Christmas breakfast, when Santa arrived!!! And Santa attended our breakfasts for the next 9 years. A friendship so strong my (late) husband put a gate in our side fence and if he ever disappeared I knew exactly where to find him – having a beer with Reg on the back lawn. Such a strong man with a gentle soul, I will miss you always Reg, and our girls will miss you and our German son Christian will miss you. Rest in Peace darling man. You and Pat gave us 10 of the most wonderful years of neighbourly love and friendship which has continued on for the last 20 years. Dearest Pat, may you find comfort in the love of family and friends at this difficult time. All our love to all Reg’s family. Kevin(dec) & Suzanne Carey, Katherine and Stephen Armati, and Rebecca and Sean Hay, and Christian Schmid.

Such wonderful memories of Reg. Always there for family & friends. A kind and generous soul, always ready for a laugh. You and my darling father, Kevin Carey, were kindred spirits. There was always another home next door to ours growing up. So much love to Pat & family, Kirstine & Paul.
