When I think of you Brian my mind goes back to Essendon on the day you and my big sister Eve married. It has been about 58 years since then and much has happened to all of us over that time. Whilst we all went on our separate journeys and our paths did not cross as often as we may have liked, when they did, what I enjoyed about you was your interesting views on life and quirky sense of humour.; you always had the ability to make me laugh. Many of the people who were there on that day in Essendon are no longer with us but I believe they will be watching over your loved ones today as they celebrate your life and say their goodbyes.

    Dearest Yvonne, Michelle and Meredith,
I was very sorry to hear about Brian’s illness and passing. You all remain in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. The service was beautiful and in particular I was touched and reminded that time can slip away too quickly and that it is important to remain in contact – or to reconnect with our family and friends.
    May you all take care,
    With Love,
    Nat
