    To dear Norma
My thoughts are with you on the passing of your wonderful husband and a very special man. What a perfect gentleman John was.
I enjoyed every moment that I spent with you both chatting when you were patients of Dr John McDonald.
I am sorry that I cannot attend the service, but I am now living on the North Coast of NSW.
Thinking of you and God Bless you Norma

Thinking of you both, dear Norma and Anne as you say good bye to your much loved husband and father. So many shared memories over so many years. Devastated that I cant be with you today, but I know that your faith in God, and the love and support you both will receive during this time of loss, with give you comfort and courage for the days ahead.
May God welcome John home, and may he be rewarded for a faithful and good life well lived. May God bless you Norma and Anne for the love and care you have shown John. May God hold you both in the palm of his hand.
You are very much in my thoughts at present, With much love and sadness for my absence, Morny

A little bit late. In the 1960s, Mum, Dad and I would fairly regularly visit the McBriens at Glendore. We also attended John’s mother’s funeral. I believe that my maternal grandmother took me on a few trips to Glendore to visit he sister, John’s mother.
My thoughts are with Norma and Anne..albeit rather late. David
