GOD saw him getting tired, a cure was not to be.
He wrapped him in his loving arms and whispered “Come with me”
Tenderly we treasure the past, with great, fun memories that will always last.
In GOD’s care he rests above. In our (Safak family’s Australia and Bangkok branches) hearts he rests with love.
    Rest in Peace Ian..

Dear Patsy, Mark, Janine, Andre and family,
My sincere sympathy on the loss of Ian. I have many fond memories of our working days in the Zinc Corp Drawing Office (1964-1970) I had so much respect for Ian as a gentleman and mentor, that I named my son Carl Andre
    after your son Andre.
My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

I remember Uncle Ian as a gentle man and a gentleman . His dry sense of humour always amused me and I still laugh about things he said and gestured.

A few years ago, we experienced his hospitality and the good food that he cooked, at the home in Bellbridge. We have good memories from that beautiful home.

I have more great memories of time spent at the home in Knox Street. There were many wonderful times spent there. I recall riding with Uncle Ian on his motorcycle; also going with him to Bell’s. On one occasion, on the way back to the house from Bell’s, we turned a corner in the car as Andre threw his napkin/diaper out the open window. Uncle Ian would not have anything to do with going back so I could pick it up. Funny times!

The memories make the separation easier. Auntie Patsy, Mark, Janine, Andre and families, we love you and caring thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
