Passed away suddenly at home, aged 74.

Dearly loved husband of Marlene. Cherished father and father in law of Adrian and Wendy, Nathan and Sherrie, Amber and Mark. A wonderful Pop to his grandchildren Reilly, Liam, Sam, Jay, Leah, Charlie, Faith, Zak, Flynn and great grandson Luca. Beloved brother and brother in law to Danella, Bette, Jan and Bruce. Devoted son to Charlie and Rose (both dec.)

    A devastating loss,
    but a wonderful life.

    Dad,
You were a true gentleman who can never be replaced. I looked up to you for strength and guidance and you were our families overarching force. How very unfair that you have been taken from me 74 years young. My heart is shattered into a million pieces that I will somehow learn to pick up. Score – Heaven=1, Us=0.

    ‘Always a skip
    in the step,
    a smile on the face,
    a whistle on the lips
    and a joke
    on the tongue.’

I will miss you forever, your loving daughter, Amber.

    Garry,
You were a beautiful man who did everything for his family. You always had time for our kids and loved being with them. Thank you for treating me like a son, you will me missed immensely.

    ‘A wonderful man
    full of life.’

    Mark.

I just want to sit down and have a good old laugh with you.
    Zak.

I will never forget you making my favourite breakfast and picking me up from school.

To my loved husband, travel companion and best friend of 55 years.

You loved life to the fullest and were so looking forward to footy season and our planned holidays. Why did you leave us so soon?

You would be so proud of our family. Adrian, Nathan and Amber and their families have taken all the burden on their shoulders, while I sit stunned. I cannot thank them enough for the support, love and care they are giving me.

I will miss your kindness, companionship, love and silly stories and jokes.

    RIP until we meet again.

    All my love, Marlene.

    Dad / Pop,

You are the bedrock on which our lives were built. We have been so lucky and proud to have you as our Father and Pop. You were one of the great personalities, an astute businessman, a solid friend and a true gentleman. Above all, you cared deeply for your entire family and you lived your life to the fullest. What a wonderful achievement your life has been.

Although it is devastating to lose you, we take strength that your memory will remain always, as a guiding example of how to live our own lives.

    We will love you forever.

Adrian & Wendy, Reilly & Jade, Liam, Sam, Jay and Luca.

To a father and a good mate, we will carry your memory for the rest of our lives. What a good bloke you were and what a devastating loss. Who will let us know what’s on special at Aldi now?

I only knew you for a very short time, I will miss our in depth discussions particularly on how tolerant you were of me as an engineer. Graeme
Heather and I enjoyed our cruises together with you and Marlene and our mutual friends, your sharp wit often left people shaking their heads in wonder.
Heather and I extend our thoughts and love to Marlene and family.
