So sad to hear that you are gone Pete. We haven’t spoken for a little while, but you sounded happy to be back on the road last time we spoke. Your phone calls were always guaranteed to give me a laugh – by the way, I hope they “send you off” with your phone in hand – you were never off that thing!!! Thank you for being an ear to listen when I lost my grandson Ethan. We were workmates who lost loved ones at around the same time, which sadly gave us something in common – I sure hope Ryan was there waiting for you. Hope you are at peace now & have no more pain. Hope those pokies in the sky are paying out & the jackpots go off regularly. You’d find this funny – I even hope Collingwood have a win for you this weekend – & you know how much I dislike them!!! Sending my thoughts to your family – may they hang on to all those good memories. Rest easy – Jenny

Friendship isn’t about who you’ve known the longest. It’s about who walked into your life, said I’m here for you and proved it.
Thank you Peter for the friendship and love over the last 10 years. You were a true mate. You were there when we needed you, as we were for you.
We will miss you at special times, especially Good Friday. Who’s going to bring the smoked cod now?
We will miss the phone calls, the visits and much much more.
Deepest sympathy to Peter’s family, especially Paul and Sean. Peter spoke so often of you all we feel like we know you and your families personally. He loved you all so dearly.
Sometimes you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.
Rest in Peace Peter Beveridge. We will miss you.
    Geoff & Sue
