Passed away peacefully at Riverwood Hostel. Loved daughter of George Paul and Marjorie Vera (both dec). Loving sister of Alan, Lorna and June (all dec).

Fond memories of my piano lessons as a young adult. Elaine loved to have a chat each time, so it was very relaxed.
The end of an era and a long career.
My three girls all did piano lessons with Elaine for over a decade and she became like a Grandmother figure for them, always interested in their lives. She was a patient teacher and tailored music to each child. Once she even went out of her way to test a piano we were considering buying on her day off. End of an era and she will be missed.
So many memories of a lovely, fun and interesting person.

A beautiful lady with a kind heart and wonderful gift; and a great level of tolerance when I clearly hadn’t practised properly between lessons! She will be greatly missed.
