DUNKLEY

DUNKLEY (nee Mitchell), Andrea Jardine
06.10.1938 – 13.03.2023

Annie died peacefully at Borella House on Monday night, having spent her last few days surrounded by family. Through her 84 years, family was at the heart of her life.  She leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Bruce, three children, Sue (Phil), Malcolm (Chrissie) and Neil (Chris) and five grandchildren, Caitlin (Michael), Amy, Jack, Ethan and Joe. Loved sister of Katherine and Barbara (dec.).
Annie loved and was loved by many and will continue to be an inspiration. She will always be remembered with gratitude for a life well lived. She faced a 12-year battle with cancer with her distinctive mix of grace and defiance, never losing her sense of humour along the way. Her family appreciate the ongoing love, compassion and care of the staff at Borella House, her oncologist Christopher Steer and the Albury-Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.

Annie’s life will be celebrated on Thursday 23rd March at St David’s Uniting Church, Albury at 2.00 pm. Refreshments will be served in the church hall after the service.
There will be a private cremation.
Annie requested we come colourfully dressed to the celebration – no black!
In lieu of flowers, you could consider a donation to the Albury-Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
