Family and friends of the late Malcolm Ferguson are informed that the celebration of his life will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St, North Albury on Friday 27th May 2016 commencing at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.
FERGUSON, Malcolm. Passed away peacefully at Mercy Palliative Care on Monday 23rd May, 2016 aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Barbara (dec). Loving father and father-in-law of Kim and Julie, Peter and Leanette, Lisa and Greg Langbine. Adored Grandfather of Brent and Louise, Tegan, Shontelle, Jayden; Jenna, Jayson; Matthew, Jackson and their families.

Many years ago, as an impressionable young apprentice, tradesman & new family man, I was afforded the friendship, guidance & mentoring in most things important from Mal Ferguson.
I take great pride in knowing that our friendship endured through the passing years. It was throughout those years that we always had plenty to share & discuss, be it about our families, reminiscing past working days, saving the world ideas, living “away” from South Broken Hill, common work mates, family members sport successors & many more subjects.
It was during our last visit to his home in Albury that we saw Mal as missing terribly but coping with the passing of dear Barb, & including us at the occasion of a dinner celebration with his family. During that short visit, Mal displayed enthusiasm when showing us around his Murray Gardens Village home & certainly demonstrated pride in giving us a guided tour of his Albury & countryside.
It is with much sadness that I hear of the passing of Mal, my lifelong friend & past work colleague,
To Mal’s immediate family, extended family & friends, Beverley & I wish to extend our sincere sympathy for their loss.
