Michelle was the best team leader with whom I ever worked. After she moved from Chermside to the Brisbane CBD office, she phoned me and said “I have a vacancy in my new team – would you like to fill it?”
I applied for transfer at level that same day.
Her marvellous sense of humour, married to detailed knowledge of her work and excellent man-management skills, made for a very pleasant workplace.
I’ll never forget that smile – or the occasional arched eyebrow.
    Rest in peace, Michelle.

My heart hurts with your loss, Michelle was an integral part of our family during our younger years, affectionately known as “frog” due to the double jointed way she would sit to watch TV! We lost contact for a number of years and reconnected as we both worked together briefly in Canberra. We tried to find the times to catch up, but never managed to both be in the same place at the same time.. March this year was our last attempt. To Catherine,Mick my sympathies in your loss of Michelle. To Richard and family, Thankyou for allowing us to share Michelle’s last journey from miles away. So sad for you all- but I expect Michelle will bring colour and life to your worlds going forward.

So sad that Michelle is gone. Will always remember the good times with Michelle and Richard when Michelle and I worked together at UMG Office. Michelle was always fun and funny. Even though it was a long time since we were in touch she will fondly remembered. Love and Condolences to Richard and the family. Genia Otuszewski
