Braedon, my greatest achievement. You were mine first and mine last. My heart is smashed into a thousand pieces and the ache is endless. I knew you were destined for something special but how little did I really know about what was to come. You immediately accepted this huge challenge that came your way three years ago with a steely resolve, incredible resilience and total calmness. I stood by your side and watched you in awe of your mental strength, your pain tolerance and your courage. You faced every hurdle with increased strength and commitment. You dealt with the last few days with incredible dignity and total humility. You have left us with an amazing legacy and we will honour you and love you forever.
Love you so much Braed, what a privilege to be your Mum. xx.

Braed, I will always remember the good times we had together fishing, football, cricket and having a beer with your mates and mine. I am so proud to call you my son and mate. You will always be in my thoughts.
    Love, Dad.

I will love you forever Braedon and nothing has ever made me prouder than being your little Brother. You taught me so much in life and I will cherish every second we spent together for the rest of my life. You will always be a Legend to me.
    Love, Rhys.

To my biggest brother and my biggest inspiration, your character and your strength will continue to inspire me everyday. You will never be lost or forgotten in our eyes, as everyday we will think of you and all you taught us about life.
Love and miss you forever, your proud little sister, Carla Anne. xx.

We will never get over this but we will get through this with the love of family and friends. Our beautiful, brave and courgeous boy. You fought so hard for over three years. Our heartfelt sympathy and love to Nev, Michelle, Rhys and Carla. Dearly loved grandson of Haydon and Lila, loved nephew of Helen and Laurie and Terry, adored and loved cousin of Adam and Zoellen, Ben and Lena, Mathew, Rachel, Illiana and Ashton. Our hearts are broken, we will love and miss you forever. Sending all our love. xxx.

God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be,
He wrapped His arms around you and whispered come to me,
So keep your arms around him Lord and give him special care,
Make up for all he suffered and all that seems unfair.

Our Brae, cherished first born grandchild born amidst much joy. Through all your suffering you were selfless and courageous thinking only of the effect of your illness on your family. The life of one we love is never lost, it’s influence goes on through all the lives it ever touched.
Reunited with Pa Barry and cousin Noah.
Dearly loved grandson of Barbara and Barry (dec) Godde.

Braed, we are so proud of the way you bravely fought through your pain for so long. Your courage and determination will always remain and be an inspiration for all of us. Although you were taken from us far too soon you will forever live in our hearts. No more battles to fight now. Rest peacefully with Pa and our darling Noah.
Much loved and admired nephew and cousin of Uncle Andrew (The Godfather), Auntie Michelle, Lucy and Hannah.

You taught us that no matter what life throws at you, that determination, faith and family will pull you through. What an inspiration you were to us and so many others whose lives you have touched. We loved your motto “pain is temporary but quitting is forever” May you find peace now mate, after such an epic journey, you have left us with such wonderful memories, which are ours to keep.
We love you, are tremendously proud of you, and will miss you. Pa and Noah will look after you from now on.
    Till we meet again xxx
Loved nephew of Paul and Cath, cousin of Nic.

Braed we are so very proud to call you our nephew and cousin. You inspired us with your attitude, deeds and love. Memories of Tawonga, walking the river with your fishing rod, watching you play cricket from the hill and always thinking of others before yourself. These memories of you are ours to treasure. Miss you forever.
Love, Gin, Steve, Jess, Ellie and Jack.

The most amazing young man we have ever known, you achieved more in your short time with us than many people three times your age. We will always remember your smile and beautiful nature that was able to draw people to you like a magnet. You have touched and influenced so many people. Your resilience, strength and selflessness was something to behold and an example to all of us on how to live our lives. You never asked for anything back and even at the darkest of moments you would always brighten the mood by cracking jokes.
We will miss the banter about your mighty cats and your beloved St Pats, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Together again with Pa.
Love Uncle Nige, Aunty Kate, Molly and Oskar.

Braedon, we feel so privileged to have been able to spend so much time with you during your fight. We will miss you dearly and will always cherish the times we spent with you; from playing cricket in our backyard Christmas Day to just hanging in our lounge room watching TV after a round of chemo – they were all magic moments to us.
Love you forever, Joel, Katherine and Will xo

P.S. Thank you Braedon for being so good to me and spending time with me, even when you were feeling tired. I will miss your hugs, watching TV and playing trains.
    Will xo

Braedon, I will miss your smile, your love of fishing and making everyone smile and laugh when watching AFL and for your love of cricket. I am sure your club will miss you.
