God saw you getting tired,
And a cure was not to be;
So he put his arms around you,
And whispered, “Come to me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away;
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
Loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Dennis & Leonie.
With tears we saw you suffer,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were slowly breaking
As you fought so hard to stay.
You did not want to leave us,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
Deep in our hearts memories will be kept,
To love and cherish and never forget.
Loving grandmother of Craig & Chantelle, Melanie & Matthew.
Perhaps they are not stars in the sky,
But rather openings,
Where loved ones shine down
to let us know that they are happy.
Adored great-grandmother of Flynn & Lacey, Chelsea & Teagan.
Family and friends are warmly invited to the celebration of Joyce’s life which will take place at the Lester and Son Chapel, 49 Thomas Mitchell Drive, Wodonga on Thursday 19th May 2022 commencing at 10:30 am.
