Funeral Notices

Dear Bob, Felicity, Faith, Paul, Deb and Teagan,
I have just watched with tears flowing the service for your beautiful wife and Mum. We have embedded in our memories the sweet and happy young wife in your little flat at Sutherland, Bob, as well as happy times in Dorrigo, Wagga and throughout your ministry at Sutherland. Throughout, your love for each other in the family shone through, as well as your hospitality, especially to us. It was underpinned by Gwenda’s kindness, welcoming and non-judgmental attitudes and her skill in keeping a well stocked pantry and feeding a multitude! We know God called her to pass through the deepest of sorrows in her life but that she bore all with patience and trust, as Felicity so beautifully reminded us. We are truly sorry that we have not made more effort to keep in touch … we will have a lot to catch up on in heaven! It is lovely to think of your dear one now,, already radiant and vibrant in His presence.
Some of our favourite words in the Bible now are “a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief”. Grief is such an intimate thing, as you already know from the loss of your beloved David. No one can truly enter into each one’s individual experience but our dear Saviour can. We will be praying for continuing grace for you in the days ahead.
