Passed away peacefully at Corryong Health with his loving wife by his side. Cherished and loving husband of Sally. Adored father and father-in-law of Warren & Leonie, and Catherine. Treasured Pa of Matilda, Amarnie, Oscar, Kelsie and Morgan. Brother and brother-in-law of Bill & Rita (dec), Elizabeth & Don Grant and their families. Son of Isabel and Don McVean (both dec).

Family and friends are warmly invited to attend the celebration of John’s life which will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, 145 Hanson Street, Corryong on Tuesday 6th December 2022 commencing at 11am. Following the service the cortege will make its way to Corryong Cemetery, Pioneer Avenue, Corryong.

    John was the complete gentleman and has been a friend for all our lives, we laughed through the good times and offered condolences in the tough times. Our thoughts are with Sally, Warren , Katherine and families at this tough time.

      Thank you Albert. Your words are very true. You and Marie, your family and your dear parents have been such a valued part of our family’s life for so long. I was just a young girl when Mum and Dad (Isabel and Don McVean) used to call in to see your parents, when we visited Jeff and Mary.
      It was lovely to see Marie on Tuesday and we knew how much you would have wanted to be there with her. You’ve had a very tough time and withstood the challenges admirably. So very many memories – as you say, happy and sad. Valued beyond words.
