Family and friends of the late Lorraine Newton are informed that the celebration of her life will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St North Albury on Monday 29th August 2016 commencing at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

Passed away suddenly. Mother of Alison Viney. Sister of Trevor, Ken, and Robert.
Gone But Not Forgotten
Sadly I am unable to attend Lorraine’s service. I have such wonderful memories of a dear and loyal friend and so glad I was there to help celebrate her 70th birthday recently, I will miss her greatly.
* R.I.P my dear Lorraine you do not have to worry about your future anymore*

I too am unable to attend the funeral but will be thinking of Lorraine and the two wonderful years we had working together and then the friendship for many years after over long distances. She knew her job inside out and was not afraid to tell me how well she knew it and how I should do mine. She taught so many Commanding Officers of Personal Support Division / Army School of Health and kept many out of jail because of her dedication to her job. I know she will be looking down at us all now and I swear I will be able to hear her say “I told you so!”. She will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace.
