My first doctor when I came to the Albury Wodonga region. I always had a joke with him and said once, “NOT many can say they can have their choice of doctor after death” as he was also the coroner then. His laughter echoed as he walked off down the hallway! That aside, he was the best doctor I have ever had. Sending my sympathies and thoughts to family at this sad time.

I met Dr Oxbrow many years ago during my service as an Albury police officer when he was the Govt Medical Officer and I attended many post mortems with him. He was always professional yet friendly and more than willing to answer any questions about the human anatomy etc. We also spoke of our respective overseas travels . He directed me to a drawer where I saw various glass jars containing what I first thought were kids marbles with all sizes and colour markings. In fact they were assortments of kidney stones which he kept to show and inform trainee medical staff during their visits to the mortuary such was his willingness to share his many years of knowledge. Will be fondly remembered and respected. R.I.P .

Dr Oxbrow was my parent’s doctor and later on, also my own. He handled my Father’s sickness with great sensitivity and care, and I will always be grateful for that.
Dr Oxbrow was a wonderful doctor and gentleman, and will be fondly remembered and missed.
