Family and friends of the late Mr Douglas Priestly are informed that the celebration of his life will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St North Albury on Monday 11th January, 2016 commencing at 11:00am. At the conclusion of the service, the cortege will leave for the Glenmorus Gardens Lawn Cemetery, Albury

Very sorry to hear of this sad news in a much belated fashion. I taught Doug guitar in Canberra and we had lots of great chats as he gained skills with this instrument. As a person whom came late to guitar he worked very hard to find his way. We also talked about his updated diagnosis and move to Albury to be closer to family. Unfortunately I’ve had my own family misadventure around Jan 2016 with my son gravely ill and in hospital in Sydney – our lives are much changed since and we have moved away from Canberra too. I wish Doug and his family peace, serenity and a wherever he may be now…. a black strat to rock out on!
