The funeral service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs Nancy Rooke OAM will be held at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 520 Kiewa Street, Albury on Monday 14th October 2019, commencing at 2.00pm.

We are deeply saddened that our much loved, respected and beautiful Sister-In-Law and Auntie, Nancy, has taken her leave. Her devotion to Chris and his to her will always be remembered as will the visits and phone calls over the years.
It is of comfort that those that have gone before her including `Gramps’ and Audrey will now have her in their loving embrace.
Sending our love, thoughts and sincere Condolences to Nancy’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and all members of her large family and to our much loved and heartbroken Brother and Uncle, Chris.

Respected Wiradjuri Elder Aunty Nancy Rooke passed away on Thursday 3rd October, 2019 at the
Albury Base Hospital, aged 84 years. Loved wife of Chris. A wonderful and loving mother to Tony, Terry, Anne-Mariee, Liz, Julie, Cathy and their families. Sister to Wally (dec), John, Yvonne, Gail and Wendy. A grandma and great grandma to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. Adored ‘Aunty Nancy’ to hundreds of people across the Albury-Wodonga community.

I was very sad to hear about Aunty Nancy. Her warmth, fun and generous spirit still remains in my memory from when I was a child. Rest in Peace now. Love to my cousins in their loss. Marianne xx
