Smithwick, Bronwyn Elizabeth (nee Turner)

24.12.1951 – 8.3.2022

Vyner, Matthew, Laura, Andrew, James and families are saddened to announce the passing of Bron on Tuesday March 8, 2022, aged 70 years. A much-loved wife, mother, nana and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

We wish to share our immense gratitude to the staff of the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, and the Wodonga Hospital Rehabilitation Ward for the extraordinary care and compassion they have shown throughout this journey.

The funeral will be held at Walwa Golf Club on Monday 21st March 2022 at 1.30pm followed by a private family burial. The wake will also be held at the Walwa Golf Club following the service. For catering purposes please RSVP to celebratebron@gmail.com by Thursday, March 17, 2022. There will be a livestream of the service available at www.ovrlstream.com.au/smithwick

    So sad to loose a friend after 68 years of friendship. Wish I could be at the funeral but I am unable to attend in person. I have a lifetime of good memories of the times Bron and I have spent together. I thank her for being there for me and the contribution she has made to my life and our group of friends. She had a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
