Family and friends of the late Mr Maurice Kingsley Star are invited to attend his Funeral Service which will be held at St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Kiewa Street, Albury on Friday, January 22, 2016 commencing at 10am. At the conclusion of the Service the cortege will leave for the Glenmorus Gardens Lawn Cemetery, Union Road, Albury.

Of Talgarno. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Lutheran Aged Care Albury. Aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of Josie. Loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Diane. Adored grandpa of Alexander and Georgia.

STAR, Maurice Kingsley.- Passed away at Albury on Saturday, January 16, 2016, aged 97 years. Born at Cudgewa, June 21, 1918. Son of Frederick and Beatrice Star (both dec). Brother of James (dec), Arthur (dec), Beatrice (dec), Harold, Thomas (dec) and Donald.
Had the honour of having a wonderful conversation with Maurice when he was eating lunch at Manoah (Yallaroo) a couple of months ago – I was visiting my father (who passed in September) and learnt so much about Maurice, his great love for Josephine, his family, only giving up driving recently – thoughts and prayers with Maurice’s family – God Bless Jude Walsh xx
