    It was the early 1970s when I first travelled to Australia and met Alma for the first time. I wondered what my new sister-in-law would be like. Well I could not have picked a nicer person!
    We became good friends, even though we lived at opposite corners of the world. Whenever we visited, Alma always made us very welcome and I treasure many fond memories of her.

    Sending much love to all the family, thinking of you all.

    Oh Toots, I’m going to miss you so much!. We’ve known each other for so long, since I was a little girl and you were my beautiful Aunt – my Dad’s little sister. How lucky was I to have such a gorgeous Aunt, full of love, kindness and caring and so much fun. If there’s one thing you gave me in abundance, always, was your love. You and Uncle Mac, were the best Aunt and Uncle a girl could ever have. I feel truly blessed and will forever hold you close to my heart..

    Alma was such a loving & beautiful lady. She taught me so much when I worked with her in my very first job out of school. I always had a soft spot in my heart for her and always tried to visit when I returned to Albury. A beautiful ceremony and had me in tears watching the photos that were being displayed. Love to you all xxx
