Second daughter of Reginald and Leila Faul (both dec) and sister of Geraldine, Helen, Cheryl and Clive. Passed away suddenly at Albury Base Hospital on Monday January 10^th, 2022. Dearly loved by her husband Sandy (dec) and family: Ian, Sheila and Mason; Cameron, Lenore; Brad, Amy, Maisie and Polly, Ryan and Emma, Christopher; Megan, Murray, Lily and Josh.

Always in our thoughts

Family and friends of Noelene are invited to attend the celebration of her life which will take place at the Kergunyah Uniting Church, 8 Kergunyah Rd Kergunyah on Friday 21^st January 2022 commencing at 10.30 am. At the conclusion of the service the cortege will leave for the Kiewa Cemetery, and then return to the Kergunyah Hall for refreshments.

I remember Noelene as a very nice woman who was a very competent Councillor when there weren’t
many women on Councils. I was on the welfare committee of the Yackandandah Shire with Noelene for several years in the 1970’s. Noelene worked with the committee to get a Welfare Car for the Shire to take elderly people in to appointments in Wodonga and Albury. She was very kind to me as a new resident of the Shire and encouraged and welcomed me to join the committee. Noelene was an energetic woman who did lots of good things for the community as well as being a mother/grandparent and dairy farmer.

We had a bond in that we both grew up in rural New South Wales. I am sorry I can’t attend the service and send heartfelt sympathy to the family.

It was a joy to have the pleasure of knowing Noelene. She had an incredible enthusiasm for life and love for her family and her community. She welcomed me into her home with such warmth.

Our deepest condolences to the Wallace family , as a tanker driver for over 30 years I often had a good old chat to Noelene I found her to always be happy and very informative . A very good neighbour that we will miss

I will never forget our 4 wonderful years at Kergunyah, 1967 to 1971, when my husband Cliff worked for Sandy Wallace. For me, a girl from the city ,Noelene was sister, friend, confidante and even sometimes mother, as I missed my family keenly. We had endless chats, when I went up to the mailbox, about any and everything….kids, work, husbands. and goings on in our beautiful Valley…..you name it. I loved her terrific sense of humour and can still hear that characteristic chuckle!! She minded a child or two, when we had a crisis, but had never encountered one before (my little Kathleen), who asked for “MORE” …three times, wanting ice-cream!! Noelene could solve any problem, but I am still wondering just WHERE did that black snake in the dairy get to, when all the men were absent that day? May God grant her peace, good-bye my friend, Cambria Parkinson , Anakie.

It was truly a pleasure to work with Noelene on the Catchment Management Board and other associated committees for many years, with passion enthusiasm and sense of fairness in all she did she was a very special woman and a great leader.

A fine citizen who contributed to her community and the wider region in so many valuable ways and over a very long period.
Very sorry I was not in attendance at her funeral, Did not learn of it until too late.
