 Passed away peacefully at the Albury Base Hospital, aged 90 years. Loving husband of Valerie (Val). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Carolyn & Jeff, Maree & Chris, Heather & Locky, Debbie & Ian and Kevin & Cindy. Beloved Grandad of 14 and Great-Grandad of 3.

Much loved and adored husband of Valerie for 65 years. Rest in peace Ernie, your work on earth is done. We will meet again one day in God’s gardens. Peacefully sleeping xxxxxx

    I would like to pass on my sincerest condolences to Ernie”s family. Ernie was a treasured and long-time friend to my father, Kevin Knorpp. I had the pleasure of meeting Ernie on several occasions when he visited my Dad originally at Kevin’s home and in later years, at Estia Health Thurgoona. These visits and regular phone calls always brightened Dad’s day.

    My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. I am sure Ernie and Dad are already sharing many stories as they did so often when they were alive.

Ernie will always be remembered as one of life’s true gentlemen and his love for his family and grandchildren was beautiful.
