Funeral Notices

I met Hugh in the late 70’s when he was a partner in the accounting firm Achatz Webber & Co. They had a very large client base in the transport industry. Later he moved to a hills based practice before his semi retirement in Stirling then at his home at Mylor. We shared Mylor connections and for many years Hugh was Treasurer of Mylor Community Club Inc. Our regular committee meetings were fun times as we pushed ourselves to publish the local community newsletter. Albeit not always sober which afforded us the opportunity to create stories when local news items were a bit scarce. We also shared a common interest in classic cars. Hugh eventually returned to his “home town” of Albury where he set up a new home with Kath. I am so glad that we caught up with Hugh & Kath when we travelled through that area a couple of years ago. We were shocked with the news of his sudden passing and will always remember him with great fondness.
