To dear George and all the Family .What an honour and privilege to have known and been blessed by Joan’s incredible life and example. Her deep love for the Lord Jesus and love and humble service to and for people has reached out across the world in many personal and practical ways. A faithful woman of prayer. Our heartfelt and deepest sympathy at this time of parting and praying God’s loving arms will surround you. Dear Georgie and family,
A sad time but so glorious to know that Joanie is now with her Lord.
I too remember the times at Beechworth rd and those brilliant sponges and cream puffs.
Every time I knit I will always think of Joan and all her knitting.
    Love to you all.

The Bible says ‘Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints’. This promise is such an encouragement, especially given the limitations that are sometimes in play when we wish to celebrate God’s wonderful work of His grace in a life in a truly fitting way. Such is the situation with life of our dear Mother Joan Whitefield.
Her life was a testimony to how marvellous God’s ‘amazing grace’ really is in the life of a sinner saved & transformed. Joan was a a wonderful example of such a life. She was remarkable for her prayerfulness, love, care, compassion & joy. We will keep her dear husband, our Dad, George, in our thoughts & prayers. Our love & thanks to all the family.
Love from all her loved ones in Western Australia.

Wishing you the peace & hope of the Prince of Peace.
