A graveside funeral service to celebrate the life of the late Ian Blair will be held at the Corryong Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday 9th January, 2019 commencing at 11am.

Passed away at Corryong Hospital with family by his side. Loved husband of Madge (dec). Loved, admired father and mentor of Bill and Milly, John and Cath. Old Fella of Dougy and Sally, Hannah and Harry. Great Old Fella of Chase, Jack and Ava.

My wife and I are greatly indebted to Ian and Madge for the hospitality and generosity they showed in introducing me to many invaluable contacts within the wider Blair family in Australia. Their initial contribution and encouragement greatly facilitated the eventual comprehensive mapping of our Blair Family, the beginnings or renewal of many Blair family friendships and to the raising of a headstone on the grave of Ian’s great-grandfather, William Blair, at Yackandandah in October 2018. Thank you, Ian Blair.
