Jill was a mentor to me and a dear friend of my family.
I always have and always will hold her close to my heart.
We shared a love of music and she spent many hours with me encouraging me in this field. I so enjoyed our times together playing duets on the organ and recorder or flute. Every time my Jack Russell’s tail wags it reminds me of the metronome she always kept on the top of her organ.m keeping us in time.
Everytime I wash dishes by hand after a dinner party with friends I think of Jill telling me how she disliked dishwashers because she thought some of the best conversations were to be had amounts friends washing up and chatting after a good night.
Chats on the swing chair, many cups of tea and games on the tennis court at Yulowirri are memories I’ll cherish forever.
    Farewell Lovely Jill.
Sending Love to you Allison, Rod, Jamie and your families at this sad time, thinking of you.
    Regards Heidi Hutchins (Whitehead) xx

Jill was a very special lady for us young Lerch family over the years. Always there for us with a keen ear about everything in our lives. Lots of great memories just chatting together.
Jill was the one person who sent me birthday wishes every single year, I love her for that.
Such a great lady, so happy to have had her in our lives. She will be dearly missed.

    Dear Jill

    The swing chair is still.
    The Happy Hour less gay.
Bubbles in the Bath lacks fizz.
A “Hoo Hoo” hangs in the air unanswered.
    Yet you are everywhere,
most of all in our hearts for now and forever.

Thank you – it’s really hard to find a good mother-in-law…

    Love
    Kate
