Our Beautiful Friend, gone too soon. Johnny stepped into our world in February 2020 and began a friendship like we had known him all our lives. We knew him as a proud dad of his two girls, a loving husband to Lynda and a mentor and coach to Grandsons Rhys and Archie..

We were blessed to have him in our lives..

My deepest condolences and loving thoughts to Lynda, Camilla, Tara and family on the sad loss of Hodgie.

I have very fond memories of hanging with Hodgie when he was a postie at the Walla Walla Post Office, with my Dad. As I was not yet at school, I would go down to the railway station most days with him, as he pushed the big red mail cart and me sitting on top of the mail bags saying “go faster Hodgie, go faster”, he always obliged.

He was a lovely man and I know my dad and mum thought very fondly of him Rest peacefully Hodgie.

Deepest sympathies to Lynda, Camilla, Tara and family.
    Rest in Peace Hodgie.

From well in the past; our condolences on John’s passing, Lynda (and family). I do remember many of the “kids” I taught at Corowa High, John certainly one of them and the fact that he always did his best whatever the task at hand was. Suppose “White Socks” has gone, but hope the couch is still operating. Phil and Jan Dean
