Family and friends of the late Mrs Lilla Irene Jones are invited to attend a celebration of her life which will be held at The Glenmorus Chapel, Glenmorus Gardens Cemetery, Union Road, Albury on Thursday, September, 2014 commencing at 2pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to WIRES or the Wilderness Society. Envelopes will be available at the Service. Private Cremation.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Albury Base Hospital. Loving wife of Allan (Dec). Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Irene, Peter (Dec), Brendan and Gina, and James and Fiona.
Grandmother of Chris (Dec), Angela and and Ryan.
Will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Lil did volunteer work with WIRES since 1996 and helped countless animals during this time. The local group would not have survived, if it had not been for Lil’s invaluable support and time on phone duty.
Lil loved working with possums and squirrel gliders, even though these little critters left scratches on her hands and arms.
Lil was always up for fundraising or other activities, from BBQs and stalls, to tree planting and spotlighting excursions.
Lil also did other volunteer work, in charity shops and helping nursing home residents go on excursions.
Lil had an impact on so many people.
Lil was in my friend and I will miss her deeply.
I hope they have line dancing and country music in heaven.
