Brendon had been a long-term northeast Victoria surveyor, having worked from the late 1980’s in the Fisher Stewart Wodonga office, which evolved into Fisher Armstrong Windsor (where Brendon was a partner with Rick Armstrong) and finally, following Rick’s retirement, into the current EDM Group, where Brendon had been General Manager.

Brendon had been active in the Murray Group of the Institution of Surveyors for many years.

It is with sadness that we shared news to our members of the unexpected passing of Brendon Windsor, Member of the Institution of Surveyors Victoria (ISV) since 1988.

Highly regarded and civic minded from a young age, Brendon was conferred Batchelor of Applied Science Surveying RMIT in 1986 working first with Fisher Cleeland Turner and Dwyer in Wodonga, where he was valued as a highly reliable member of the team. Over time this became Fisher Armstrong Windsor emerging in partnership with Rick Armstrong. When Rick retired this became EDM Group with Brendon as General Manager. Brendon worked in surveying and related fields for over 40 years and his experience and knowledge is a sad loss to our community.

Brendon was an active member of the ISV Murray Group including serving as its representative to the ISV Board, and many of our regional members and Board members will have worked closely with him over the years and be saddened by this news. We also offer our sympathy and condolences to the team at EDM.

He will be missed and our deepest thoughts are with his loving family.

Our heartfelt prayers and condolences to Lyn and Family on the sudden passing of Brendon. I first met Brendon over 6 years ago and I always found him to be honest; a very good manager and a “straight shooter”. He was a great family man and an excellent Surveyor. I considered Brendon a true mate and it was a pleasure to know and work with him.
God bless Brendon…. rest in peace mate

Our Condolences to Lyn and family in this trying time.
A good man taken too soon.
He was one of last of the old school blokes ‘work hard and play hard’. He would expect you to do something he either wouldn’t do or already had.
Brendon was someone who loved his family and you could see that when he spoke about them.
    He also loved his horses.
He had so much knowledge stored up in his mind, it was amazing. You could converse with him on pretty much anything.

    You will be missed
