Family and friends of the late Mr Robert Brooks are informed that the celebration of his life will take place at St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Kiewa St Albury on Friday March 3, 2017 commencing at 2:30pm, followed by a private cremation.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Inc. Envelopes available at the Church.
Having lived in Albury for 14 years, I am fortunate to meet Robert in the early 80s. He was an accountant for my restaurant until my departure back to Melbourne in 1994.
During these years, Robert became a very dear friend. His sincerity, friendship and kindness extended to me will stay in my heart forever.
His warm welcome, “Ahh Mr. Tung” and the narrowing of his eyes when he was not sure are just a few memories I will treasure dearly.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
