Family and friends of the late Mrs Elizabeth “Betty” Hendy are invited to attend the celebration of her life which will be held at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester and Son Funeral Home, Cnr of Mate and Wantigong Streets, North Albury, on Friday 2nd February 2018, commencing at 1.30pm. The cortege will leave at the conclusion of this service for the Glenmorus Gardens Lawn Cemetery, Union Road Albury.

What a wonderful legacy Betty created for the Hendy family. I saw her as the perfect grandmother. Her love and devotion to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and any other child needing a cuddle or warm smile left others wishing they could sit on Betty’s knee for that much-needed hug. She was warm, compassionate, and the ideal image of a grandmother. That’s how I will always remember her and strive to be the same one day to my grandchildren. Thank you Betty for leaving that impression on me, I am truly grateful. God bless xxx
