Nan, although I haven’t seen much of you in my adult life, my childhood is filled with memories of Mrs. Moore, my other Nanna. You were such a great friend to my family, such a great support to my grandparents, Millie and Bruce. We could always rely on you for hugs and smiles,m, and somewhere to play, and tall glasses of cold water on a hot day, followed by a treat or gift sneakily pressed into our hands. We loved running through your house and discovering treasures, and you never once seemed to mind.
I wish I could be there to spend time with all those your life has touched, but I know you will always be remembered by so many for your kind smile and open door and the love and care you showed to everybody.
Rest peacefully, Mrs. Moore.
I remember this lovely, kind woman when staying with my Aunty June Panlook, her sister in law. Nanette was such a beautiful person and gave me courage during a sad time. I will always remember your kindness to a young girl
