Margaret was both my parents’ and my own family’s next door neighbour for decades. Her loss leaves us with heavy hearts but gratefulness for her presence in my family’s life.
I am honoured to have known her, to have heard her tell me the stories of her life and I am always and forever grateful for the care she gave to my mum. I will always miss you over the fence, having a chat, sitting with you in the lounge room having a cry, or just gardening together out the front.

You were so special to us.
    And you knew that.

Aunty Marg, you were such an important role in my life especially growing up, I loved when we came down to your house for some school holidays or all the times you visited us, you were my Godmother, you came to my wedding and I remember the time you flew over to WA to visit me when Mum was here and you both went to see John Denver’s last tour.
You will always keep a special place in my heart, thankyou for always excepting me for me and always letting me know you will “always be my Aunty Marg”
May you rest peacefully, I’m sorry I can’t be there to say goodbye with the family.
I love you Aunty Marg xxx

We didn’t know you for long Marg, as we had just moved in across the street, we noticed that you loved your garden, as we seen you out there on Many occasions. To the point where my husband had to help you out of the garden. As you got stuck several times ans my husband had to help you up,,you always had a story to tell it was a pleasure and Privilege to get to know you.RIP

Aunty Marg, I also have fond memories of visiting you as a young child, with Uncle Merv always rocking his finest flannelette shirts. My best memories of going to the Hume Weir, the Albury monument, the trout farm & who can forget going to see the bunyip as a kid..
To my cousins Bill, Kaye, Sharon, Lynette, Glenn & your families my profound sympathy to all. My thoughts are with you, and apologies for my absence.
Rest in peace matriarch of your kin, your nephew Thorley.
