Clendenning, Peter Edward
06.02.1939 – 27.06.2024

It is with great sadness that Peter Clendenning, beloved brother of Barbara Ball (Pauline) and a Great Uncle to the Pauline and Clark families has passed away on 27 June 2024 at the Calvary Mater Newcastle Hospital. He has no more pain and has peacefully taken his wings and flying to a glorious new place for new adventures, and meeting passed family and friends with their own wings.

Rest in Peace.

The funeral service for Peter will be held at the Lester & Son Wodonga Chapel, 49 Thomas Mitchell Drive, Wodonga, on Tuesday 16 July 2024, commencing at 10:30am.

At the conclusion of the chapel service, the cortege will depart for burial at the Wodonga Cemetery, 190 Sangsters Road, Wodonga.

    Darren (Blackley) has very fond memories of uncle Peter adding his bit to everyone’s Happy Birthday song:

    “Why was she born so beautiful, why was she born at all;
    Because she had no say in it, no say in it at all.
    Hip Hip Hoorah!.”
