Val (Putch) I’ve known you all my life. Our parents knew each other in post war Germany and rekindled the friendship in Australia. So many happy times with your family in Heyfield. Your visits to Mum and Dad brought them great joy in their later years. You spent your life looking after others. I will miss you forever x

Heartfelt condolences to Guy, Rom, Sylvester and Maria, and all the Konieczny family

    Dear Guy and families,
I am so sorry for your loss; it is truly heartbreaking. Val was a beautiful person and a wonderful friend. My memories of our school years will never be forgotten.
I feel so privileged to have got to spend a weekend with her and Maree in February reminiscing about our many years of friendship and learning about our lives since moving in different direction with our families.
We were both surprised that even though we didn’t see each other, how similar our journeys were.
Vals words “we talked for 7hrs nonstop, on the first day. 2nd day more chats, drives, chats, food, and chats!”.
If our teachers could read this, they would say “nothing’s changed!”
Sending you all big hugs and love.

Val, we were so shocked when we heard that you had gone. Thank you for the years of fun, laughter and friendship when we worked together at “The old Gerry centre”. Another caring nurse has left this world. We are sending our love and thoughts to Guy and the rest of the family. Love from Kathy McCullagh and Wendy McPhan xox
