    With Jesus my Lord
    Poem by Alison Hawthorn

    When I die
    You may cry
    Mourn my loss
    That’s why there’s the cross
    Of Jesus

    But after a while
    remember to smile
    As I will be
    In the company
    Of Jesus

    Far from death
    Away from pain
    Because of grace
    Face to face
    With Jesus

For the life I had be glad
    Friend, husband, dad
    My unique, quirky ways
    Faithful all my days
    To Jesus

    Some unknown day
    This I pray
    You too will be
    In the company
    Of Jesus

    He calls to you
    Come, please do
    Before it’s too late
    Make Him your best mate
    The Lord Jesus

    What a friend
    Until the end
    Whenever that be
    And for all eternity
    With Jesus

    To dear Shirley and family
Sorry I cant be there today but I will be praying for your all as you celebrate Les’s life
I have lots of memories as a teenager of Les coming to our home to fi things that has been broken or needing to be renovated
Les had a great sense of humour and loved hearing his stories and his laugh
Les is now safe in the arms of Jesus
Praying that God will continue to have you all in His arms so He cam comfort you all as you need
Take care and praying for you all

I knew Les as Reb through the scouting movement he helped me so much on my journey to achieve my Queen scout award.
He was an amazing man with many many stories.
Remeber him never having shoes on and always having his megaphone by his side at large events.
Reb picked up a stick and snaped it in two with ease. He then followed it with a bunch of sticks that where to strong to break and explaining how this is how a team works.
Always fun caring and loving man. RIP Reb.
