    My moments of Kevin
Being made to work hard to marry his daughter – it worked.
Finally being accepted, trusted and, in his own way, loved
Observing his approach to Leadership – and learning some lessons
Watching him soften into retirement, then grow into grandfatherdom
Grieving with him in 1990 and being allowed to see his tough facade slip
Feeling his support, his fear and his sorrow in my 2005
Being allowed into his memories when ghost-writing his wartime years in 2010
Admiring his capacity to rise above setbacks in his life and circumstances – and seldom complain

Good bye Dear friend. I’m going to miss our chats, your wonderful stories about a life full of events and people. Our friendship started by the common love for Nic and the grandkids and developed into much more while we were helping each other through a rough patch. You helped me to see life in a happier light. Going to do my best to honor your memory by laughing more and living my dreams. Don’t worry Dear Kell the tears will soon dissappear and we will all remember you with a big smile on our faces and hearts. Grace.

RIP Boss….what an innings! Always remembering the amazing Commodore days….some of my happiest memories and the best job I ever had. None of we minions ever knew what to call you after the “Mr Kelly” days! But you were always so protective and so much fun to work with. And more recently the catch-up phone calls, with lots of reminiscing and laughs….I’ll miss them! How awesome it was that we all got to reunite at your fabulous 90th not too long ago.

To Margie, Nicole, Russell, Pam and families, may you be surrounded by angels to heal the pain of your loss.

    Christine
