Son of Reg and Charlotte (both dec.). Loving brother and brother-in-law of Ian & Lois, Joy (dec.) and Dennis. Uncle to James & Leanne, Chris & Sarah, Adam & Tiff, Mark & Sara, Melinda, Amy & Mark and Georgina. Adoring great uncle to Harry, Ed, Isy, Emily, Ivy, Georgia, Oscar, Archie, Lewis, Isaac, Violet, Maeve, Porta and James.

We will miss your chats, the stories and the love you had for your family and the people in the Rand community.

A funeral service for Wayne will be held on Monday 4th November 2024, at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, 520 Kiewa Street, Albury commencing at 11.00am. Wayne will be privately cremated.

    I remember Wayne as a man immensely proud of his family, cricket, football, netball clubs, the Rand community, and especially the Rand Sports Ground, which I am sure was his pride and joy.

    I always enjoyed catching up with Wayne on ANZAC DAY at Rand. We would catch up on the local footy, remember the old Rand Pigeons, discuss how the farm was going and reminisce on the days when Rand was a busy little town when we were much younger. I had a lot of relatives who lived at Rand including my grandparents, parents, uncles, aunties, cousins and close friends, so it was nice to remember the characters and history of the district with Wayne.
    Wayne was a top bloke who always had a friendly smile, and he loved Rand, and I’m sure Rand loved him. He will be sadly missed.
