Condolences to all the family on the death of Des( as we knew her). We were neighbours when Keith and Des lived in Grammar Street, Wendouree, we were round the corner in Norman Street. Mum and Dad were friends and as a little girl, I used to spend some time with Des. Dad remembered me standing on a chair to watch Steven as a baby having a bath.

Desi was such a loving, caring and wonderful lady who is now reunited with her “darl” Keith. As Steve said in Desi’s eulogy, we all know that our own parents are special. I have to say that Desi was a special person not only to your family, but to many. I have such special memories of wonderful times spent with your family that I shall always treasure. My heartfelt sympathy to Kayla, Steve and family at this sad time in your lives. It was with deep regret that I was unable to attend Desi’s service today. My thoughts are with you all. Lynette
