Passed away peacefully at Riverwood Aged Care on 7th January 2024.

Wife of Geoffrey Thomas Newnham (dec.).
Mother and mother-in-law of Peter & Sophie, Lea & Ian, Lindy, Mark & Lee, Robert & Janice. Grandmother of Bianca, Lena, Toby, Thomas, Zeph, Oliver, Joel, Dominic, Connor & Sasha. Great-grandmother of Xavier, Emerson, Maya, Isla, Harvey, Mila & Jack.

A private interment was held on 12th January 2024.

    Feeling for you all at this sad time. Your mother goes down in history as the last parent of our generation of the “Walwa Kids’ of the ’60’s and early 70’s’. She was a great lady and I will remember her fondly always. I know you all will share that sentiment.

    Mum, Kath & Granny Kate. It’s hard to imagine not seeing or talking to you ever again. Perhaps those very long phone calls in recent years were in preparation for the silence to follow.
