O’Connell, Brendan “Ben”

The family of Ben (Brendan) O’Connell sadly announces the death of their beloved father, brother and Pop, peacefully at home in the Mitta Valley. Resting in peace with his parents John & Clara, his brothers Alan (Paint) and John (Boozer) and sister Mary. Survived by his sisters Judy and Eileen, his children Loretta, Denis (& Helen), Andrew (& Janet), Clare, Jason (& Susan), Marita (& Ben), and John (& Amy). His grandchildren Ellen & Ainslee, Harry & Fraser, Matilda & Angus, Ellie & Beatrix, Bridie and Elizabeth. His great-grandchildren Cayllum, Quinn and Arlie.

A life lived to the fullest

A Memorial Service to celebrate Ben’s life will be held at the Magorra Park Multipurpose Centre, Mitta North Rd, Mitta Mitta on Monday 29th July 2024 commencing at 11.00 am. This will be preceded by a private family burial at the Mitta Cemetery.
