Family and friends of the late Mr Mick Rochford are informed that the celebration of his life will take place at the Evergreen Chapel, Lester & Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St North Albury on Thursday 22nd March 2018 commencing at 10:30am, followed by a private cremation.

It’s the memories that inevitably carry us through, and growing up alongside the Rochford family gave me plenty. Saturday evening barbeques were a given. As you entered through the squeaky side gate, the bung eyed poodle would start yelping, the radio bellowed that Kernahan had missed another goal for Mick’s beloved Blue’s, and above that a thick English accent was yelling something at you from the shed that you couldn’t quite understand, but it always ended with a laugh and big grin. The best though was yet to come, and just like the consistency of a Big Mac, so too was the well-done nature of a steak cooked by Mick.
I am sure Mick has already found a stylish shed up there in heaven ready for Round 1 this week. He’s probably already touched it up with a dash of paint too!
