Passed away peacefully at Mercy Place Albury. Dearly loved husband of Lorraine. Much loved father and father in law of Barry & Laura, David & Lee-Anne. Beloved grandfather Ashleigh & Brad, Brittany, Jordan and Jake. Great grandfather of Hunter and Carter.

 A private service will be held for the late Barry Holmes at Evergreen Chapel, Lester and Son Funeral Home, 359 Wantigong St, North Albury on Friday 25th September 2020, commencing at 10.30am.

    To Lorraine and family. My condolences with the passing of Barry. It was a privilege and honour to have known and cared for Barry. We had many random conversations and sing a longs with usually ended with great laughter. We all miss him dearly. My thoughts are with you all.

    Dear Mrs Holmes and family, I don’t have enough words to say to you all. Watching the funeral on a TV from the Gold Coast was not the way I wanted to say goodbye to Mr Holmes. I will forever carry wonderful memories of him and of us as families who got together for drinks and many laughs. I will miss his amazing hugs and seeing the love he had for you Mrs Holmes. Thank you for inviting us to share your goodbye, it was a beautiful service. Thinking of you all xx
